The Small powertrains and Energy systems Technology Conference (SETC) is an international technology conference for small powertrains and related products. SETC is the world’s only international technical conference dedicated to small powertrains. The conference aims to explore a wide range of possibilities from the unique perspective that small powertrains offer, in order to achieve sustainable carbon neutrality. Although many technologies aimed at carbon neutrality exist today, each presents its own challenges, and in some cases their long-term sustainability remains uncertain.
SETC is jointly held each year by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. (JSAE) and SAE International. JSAE has chosen this year’s theme: “Pathways to a Sustainable Society Through Historical Insights and Technologies for the Future.”
